Cimarron (1931) Wesley Ruggles.

I'm new to this blogging business so bear with me. Some things get better with age, like a fine wine, others get worse, like SquareEnix. This is the latter I'm afraid. The 30's acting would drive anyone mad (although not quiet as bad as 'All Quiet On The Western Front' but at least that movie had other substance..) This movie was ludicrously overrated on its release, its very own original sin to go along with its many others and remains a poor movie today. Our religious society is obsessed with ridding ourselves of original sin, which is about the only thing this movie has achieved as no one really gives a fuck about it anymore, therefore it is no longer overrated; however all its other sins still remain, stay away from it. I gave it a 5 but it is a contextual 5 in an effort to be fair to it's day. A modern movie I score 5 will usually be much better use of your time than this. Ye seem to be on some sort of horror buzz at the moment, well look no further! :) This is my first post (I just got your email Pat) so I will comment and contribute henceforth, also I would usually never write a review like that on facebook because it would go over everyone's heads bar a select few who all seem to be on here! I leave you with a quote from one of my favorite authors 'Welcome to the culture' Patrick Nyland Campsite A (which is usually straight ahead as opposed to carparks 4 and 5 which are apparently to the right) Oxegen 2004.
