One of Cukor's earlier movies, although he would go on to make bigger movies (My Fair Lady etc. etc.) I feel this one still holds up today as a classic battle of the sexes comedy. It has over the years been bettered many times over (Pillow Talk etc.) but for it's day it was really great stuff and the laughs still hold up today. The courtroom scenario would obviously never exist in modern society but the lack of possible real life replication is irrelevant to the context of the movie. It's no Some Like It Hot or Annie Hall, but then again neither are most comedies. I would recommend it anyways :)

I saw this a couple of months back, enjoyed the hell out of it. One of the best battle of the sexes movies. As ridiculous as it plays out, it must have been pretty topical at the time. Tracy and Hepburn are endlessly fascinating when they're together. I gave it a 7 (means 'very good' in my book)
